Looking to up your Midjourney game?

If you’ve been watching the ever-evolving world of Generative AI from the sidelines, but want to get involved in creating your own masterpieces, then this online course might be for you.

Hosted on Google Meet, the session is a half day deep dive into the inner workings of Midjourney.

Covering everything from the reasons why Midjourney is the best Generative AI tool on the market to the ways it helps day-to-day within the advertising industry. And, of course including a guide to writing and structure prompts to get the very best from the technology.

Spaces are limited so sign up today. Absolutely no prior experience with Midjourney is necessary, although I recommend signing up before the session as ultimately, the very best way to learn is to put the tips and skills into practice and play around on the platform.

What does the course cover?

  • Why Midjourney over other Generative AI tools.

  • Day-to-day uses within the creative industry.

  • Finding your way around Midjourney.

  • A starter guide to building prompts.

  • Tips for enhancing realism in images.

  • Generating Consistent Characters.

  • Examples of brands using AI well (and not so well.)

  • Discussion on the legal and moral side of using AI.

The plan is to keep the session informal and conversational, so questions are encouraged as we go.

Who is the session run by?

Hi, I’m Adam.

Some of you might already know me. But if you don’t, then I’m an advertising creative, art director and part-time Midjourney wrangler. My day-to-day role is creating and crafting adverts for agencies and clients, but over the past 12 months, I’ve also been working as a freelance AI visualiser for numerous agencies. Bringing concepts, pitch visuals and storyboards to life through the magic of Midjourney.

Since its release, I’ve been hooked on pushing the limits of AI images and uncovering real-life uses for all of us working within the creative industries. After numerous requests and a couple of workshops under my belt, I’ve decided to share my knowledge through a series of online tutorials.

If you’d like to see my AI work, head to AI Art Direction or follow me at AI by AR on Instagram.

FAQs

  • No, not at all. The session is designed for people who've never even tried Midjourney, as well as those who've had a play but want to up their skills and make better images.

  • No. A lot of the examples are based around every day uses for designers, art directors and creatives working in the advertising industry, but there's something for everyone. Previous courses have been attended by photographers, planners, account managers and copywriters.

  • No. The session will be a guided tour through the inner workings of Midjourney, but there's no need for you to produce any images there and then. If people would like to have Midjourney open on a separate screen and experiment whilst we go, then feel free.

  • If you're wondering this, then you already know a little about Midjourney! Previously, the course was based around Discord. But because more and more people are now accessing Midjourney through the web interface (eventually everyone will), I'll be using that as the primary interface. All prompts and settings will be explained for Discord and the web interface.

  • The aim is that this becomes a monthly session. If you can't make this date but are interested for the future, fire me an email to let me know!
